Checkups
We recommend seeing us twice a year. During your appointment, we’ll physically examine your teeth and gums. X-rays are taken on some visits to get a deeper view of potential changes. Dental checkups are also an opportunity to screen for early signs of mouth cancer
Checkups are a painless experience—we’ll do everything possible to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Building up a relationship with us through routine visits can help you feel more at ease if you ever need treatment in the future.

A Deeper Clean
At Bella Dental, we recommend making routine appointments with our hygienist. Hygiene appointments are an opportunity to enjoy a deeper dental clean that leaves your teeth feeling brand new.
Using techniques like ‘scale and polish’, our hygienist will remove plaque and tartar buildups, reducing the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Your hygiene appointment is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about how to care for your smile. Our hygienist can offer support and advice around brushing techniques, which dental products to use, and any lifestyle factors affecting the health of your smile.

Fillings
When tooth decay strikes, cavities form. These small holes in your teeth cause sensitivity and toothache. Without repair, the decay could deepen to the living core of your tooth and the root canals.
We can repair cavities using fillings to prevent potential infections and the need for root canal treatment. Before performing this simple procedure, we’ll provide a local anaesthetic to maximise comfort. The procedure is brief, and we’ll use strong, tooth-coloured materials for a subtle restoration.
